iPhone SE 2020 has made waves since it’s launch in April this year. There is not much change in the design factor since the last iPhone SE. A single change is that the Apple logo is in the middle in the back. It has a camera similar to iPhone 11, a powerful processor, everyone’s favorite to Touch ID, and a price tag that might entice many android users to switch to Apple iPhone.
Due to the pandemic, smartphone companies had hit a bit of a bump in terms of sale. But since conditions have been a little loosened in lockdown, the companies are slowly starting their business.
Xiaomi just a few days ago unveiled their first Mi flagship Mi 10 in the country with a price tag starting at Rs 49,999. Following this soon, Apple will also release the new iPhone SE 2020 in the country via Flipkart.
While deliveries are prohibited in Red zones, e-commerce companies do have permission for deliveries in the orange and green zones.
Recently the phone was found listed under the mobiles section, which indicates that it might soon be available to order online. The date is not yet revealed when it will be available. Let’s see what specs does the iPhone SE 2020 brings to the table,
So what things has iPhone 11 SE 2020 going for it?
The phone is very compact in size, with a 4.7-inch display that features an LCD screen and not some fancy AMOLED. The phone has the same identical design to the iPhone 8. The bezels at the top and bottom include the front selfie camera and a touch ID. This time Apple skipped the Face ID entirely to reduce the device cost.
The phone also packs the A13 bionic chip, which was recently launched by Apple with the iPhone 11 series. It is currently the most powerful chipset ever made by Apple. So this is what makes the iPhone SE more desirable for every smartphone owner right now. Paired with such as powerful processor and camera that can beat any smartphone in this price range iPhone SE 2020 is the iPhone that is for everyone.
But there are many downsides to the phone; also, Apple provides you with sub-par battery life and just a 5W charger in the box. It is an insult for all the iPhone users out there, and the phone does support 18W fast charging, so why not provide the charger also? Also, the phone packs 3GB of RAM; this does seem low compared to other phones, but due to Apple’s closed ecosystem, performance won’t be an issue.
The main camera is 12MP, and the selfie camera is 7MP, but as it is Apple, the processing counts and not how much megapixels are there. You can shoot 2160p videos as low as 24 fps, but 4K video recording is absent from the device. But you do have OIS and HDR+ support.
The battery has a capacity of 1821 mAh, and as I mentioned earlier, it supports the 18W charger. It can charge the device up to 50% in just 30 mins. Also, it supports Qi wireless charging like all the other iPhones.
There some features such as Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.0, and Audio sharing which means you can use two wireless earbuds. Also, last but not least wireless charging.
Price and Availability
The phone is available in three colors, that is Black, White, and Red. You have the option to choose either a 64GB, 128GB, or 256GB variants. Pricing start from Rs 42,500 for the base variant, Rs 47,800 for the 128GB variant and Rs 58,200 for the 256GB variant.
To know when the device arrives, you can click on the banner and sign up using your email ID and phone number. Flipkart will send you a notification alert when the device is available for purchase.
The device is now available from Flipkart. The starting price is set at Rs 42,500 for 64GB variant and it is available without any flash sale.
