The successor to the RealMe X50, the company is prepping for the launch of its successor, RealMe X50 Pro 5G. The company has said that the phone will go official on February 24.
As the Mobile World Congress for this year 2020 has been canceled due to the outbreak of coronavirus. Therefore RealMe will host the launch for the smartphone in an online event.
So, by far, there are many key details revealed about the smartphone. The company’s vice president Xu Qi Chase has announced vital information about the display of the RealMe X50 Pro.
It is confirmed that the phone will come with a Super AMOLED screen made by Samsung; it will have a refresh rate of 90Hz and also will feature a new E3 light-emitting material. Earlier reports have shown that the screen will have a resolution of 2400 x 1080 with a 20:9 aspect ratio.
Under the hood, the device will pack the latest flagship processor Snapdragon 865 and will also feature Snapdragon X55 5G modem that will enable the phone to use dual-mode 5G.
The phone will come with 65W SuperDart fast charging technology. Initially, the company planned to launch RealMe X2 Pro with 65W charging, but instead, it ended up with just 50W fast charging.
In the software part, the phone will be running Android 10 out of the box. RealMe UI 1.0 will be running on top of it.
We can hopefully expect from RealMe to hold up their statement this time and provide 65W in the RealMe X50 Pro. It will be a flagship-level phone, so it makes sense for the company to pull out all the stops.
Availability
As of now, there are no indications of what the price would be for the device. But I can say it will be somewhat in the range of price of Rs 25k – 30k. Therefore it will give fierce competition to likes of OnePlus 7T and Xiaomi’s Redmi K30 5G.
